So.
I've decided, after a few years, to sort of end this blog. Officially.
I'm keeping the site up, for nostalgia purposes, because I feel like I should- it was sort of the place I discovered my sexuality, really the place I started to understand who I was. So the posts won't be disappearing or anything. I'm just going to not post anymore, officially. Maybe I'll update in like 2020 and be like "omg guys junior year is going gr8" but besides that I probably won't do anything on here. See you. Bye!
-This is Gracc McDede, signing off.
Peace out.

oh my gosh!
I'm SOOOOOOO sorry for not updating. Like, the sorriest. I just had a ton going on with end-of-school and friends and AAAH so much stuff! Well, let's see...
- End of school! I got a ton of yearbook signatures, and I was surprised to find that I knew everyone that had signed! (Maybe I knew more people than I thought...) Anyway, I've graduated and become a big huge *boop, this is not allowed to be revealed* grader! *squee of happiness* So that was fun. We had our end-of-the-year choir concert (and a band one too), and that was hard but fun to do.
- I started riding dirt bikes with my dad! He's teaching me how to shift and stuff, so that once I turn 16, I can get a motorcycle license and be ultra-cool and hyper-awesome.
- He also did a thing at his work called Gromkhana, in which people ride the cutest lil' bike (called a grom) on an obstacle course. The person with the fastest time at the end of the day gets to keep the Grom! (yay) The first weekend got rained out, but the second one was SCORCHING HOT! I worked both of them, for 10 hours each, getting paid $5 an hour, and I now am 100 dollars richer than I was before that happened. Awesome.
- TATINOF. *big intake of air* itwasthemostawesomethingthathaseverhappenedtomeanditwasactuallydanandphilandohmygodhowdoiexpressfeelingrightnowandtheyusedoneofmychallenges!!!anditwasamazingandalsonotonfireandigotmerchandmetatonoffansthatwerelikemeandthepreshowplaylistwasABSOLUTELYAWESOMEandithadsomanysongsandeveryoneknewthelyricstoallthesongsanditwaswonderfulandimnotgonnaspoilanythingbutwootwootWOOTWOOT WOOT WOOT W O o t w o o t *gasp gasp gasp*
- Yeah, that's pretty much what's been happening.
- Ta daa.
So there we go, an update! sorry it's super short, I'm just pretty tired right now and I have a few friends that I want to talk to. Just wanted to let you know I'm still alive. And I'll post waaaay more on this blog during the summer, promise. See you guys soon!
Music- Monstercat Podcast 108. All of it. It's right here. LISTEN TO IT. IT'S SO GOOD. SO FREAKIN' GOOD!

WOW. just... I'm disappointed in myself
I haven't posted since EVER. Ugh.
A lot has happened though!
1. My friend Mary-Chan has started a promotional channel! I'm so proud... anyway, check that out if you have time to listen to good stuff.
2. My friend's dog died D: (is sad)
3. May 4th. Just- May 4th. May the 4th be with you, to anyone out there, no matter what day it is!
4. It's my friend's birthday tomorrow (happy birthday, you know who you are.)
5. Homestuck.
Oh, dear lord. Where do I begin on Homestuck?
Some of you- okay, probably anyone who was on the internet or went to any comic or anime con from around 2013 until now- know what Homestuck is, or probably a little of the pretense. It's quite complicated. The best way to describe it, I think, is that it's "a webcomic about four kids, then sixteen, then twenty kids. They change the world and die a lot." or in the creator's own words, it's a "sprawling creation myth about kids in houses". It's quite overly complicated, has a 500-page intermission that I skipped, and is a combination of art, drawing, animation, anime, Flash games, and HTML5. Very fun. It also ended on 4/13, technically. There's an epilogue. But yeah, read it for more info and stuff and you'll probably understand why I'm obsessed.
So, yeah, woo hoo. not much in my actual life, except school and grades and stuff which is boring and I don't want to bore you. I just also wanted to say that I have 23 days until I go to TATINOF Chicago. I'm excited. Excitement. whaaaaat
Music: Skewed by Karma Fields, Fixed_ by Karma Fields. Yes, that is an underscore, and yes, that is part of the title.
YouTuber: for the heck of it, jacksepticeye. he's cool and stuff.

hey sorry about not posting
lots of exciting stuff happened really fast and I didn't have time to go on here and talk about it
First of all, something known as PARCC testing is coming up soon for me! I'm not looking forward to it at all. First of all, we don't get to go to Band or Choir for around 2 weeks, and second, it's not that it's hard, it's just that it takes forever! Ugh. At least once I take it it'll be over. And once I do, I know that the end of the school year is just around the corner- and right after that, TATINOF! (eee) I found out that almost all my friends have tickets. Maybe we'll spot each other in the audience! Probably not, though. It's a big theater.
Monstercat Podcast number 100 came out a few days ago! *excited* It's almost 3 hours long with over 100 songs, and it's AWESOME AND YOU SHOULD WATCH IT NOW DO IT
Have any of you watched someone called Bill Wurtz? He makes cool videos about random stuff at www.billwurtz.com. He made the video history of japan, which taught me more about japan than I've learned in any other time of my life! (and it's melodic, too.) So check him out!
School was school. Not much changed. We're studying the War of 1812. Did you know that we invaded Canada and burned York (modern-day Toronto, the British capital at the time) to the ground? And for payback, the British burned Washington D.C. Dolly Madison saved a painting of George Washington from the burning White House, though. I think that was pretty cool of her.
Quick survey! How do you draw? How did you learn? For example, I learned from looking at artists' art that I admired, and watching how they drew certain things like expressions. I also traced a bit of artwork to just see how to do things like clothing folds. So how did you do it? I have a friend who practiced drawing clothing and stuff by photographing himself in the mirror, then drawing his character in the same poses as he was in. I think that was pretty cool.
This is turning into one of those random rant things. OH WAIT I FORGOT THERE'S NEWS! I'm going to be making a Weebly side-blog based off of this one, just detailing random stuff about my fandoms. So if you want to hear me rant more about Undertale, go there! (Web address will be posted next time; I'm still working out some kinks in the system.) Weebly is pretty cool if you want to make an easy site. Blogger is a lot more complicated with HTML and stuff.
That's pretty much all I have for you today! In totak:

DE-FENSE! DE-FENSE!
So I went to a Bulls game today, and as you may know, they lost. It was unbearable. We were SO CLOSE! If we didn't have a penalty called on us, we would have WON. WE WOULD HAVE WON. This is why I don't get involved in sports. Ugh. I would have rather stayed home and been on my computer for the seven hours it took us to do everything. At least I saw Chicago! It seems that there are fences under the bridges, and people are putting locks on there like they do on that bridge in Paris. Pretty cool, I think.
Besides that, I have absolutely nothing to report! I didn't get the chance to do much because we left at four and came back at eleven. This is not good. It means I don't get to tell you anything else. *cries*
Well, sorry! Hopefully there'll be more to report tomorrow!

Rhyming words!
So this is an update on my life as per the end of my day. I had an awesome time with my friends! We played the longest game of Uno EVER (it took us the entire time to finish it) and we cracked up at Tumblr stuff and April Fools' stuff. (I'm so glad it's April Fools', there are some people **cough cough donald trump** who have been planning elaborate pranks of course!) Also, there's a new video by DanandPhilCRAFTS that you should check out! Now! Do! It! We also cried major big-time over Gravity Falls feels again, and I told them about the new fandoms I'm in! We overall had an amazing time and I can't wait for them to come back hopefully next week!
Well, that's all! Gotta go to bed or something :D
OH WAIT! Important stuff!
So serious business for a minute.
I want to tell you guys something right now.
I have been living a lie.
I was adopted.
I'm not sure what this means for my life in general, but my parents told me, and I'm trying to re-define normal at the moment. That was some probable cause for the hiatus.
Well see you I guess!
(Some music: here, here, here)

Yet Another Normal Post
Hey everyone! Quick lil' promo here- I have a Soundcloud, also called Gracc McDede, and I repost a lot of dubstep stuff so if you like dubstep follow me pls
Well, now that that's out of the way, I'll tell you about today so far! It's been... boring, mostly. Me and my little sister sat in my dad's office and watched Miraculous and read and drew. Not much to report.
So instead of reporting about today (although my friends are going to come over later, so...), I'm going to talk about some stuff almost at random. Be prepared.
So on the one hand, what is up with terrorists? they aren't good at all. I don't like them. They're very not good for anyone except maybe themselves and usually not themselves either because they suicide and stuff. So why do they do it? I don't know. If you do, comment.
Oh, and Homestuck has been going well so far. I keep going to Tumblr to look at one thing and getting distracted from reading it, though. It's still cool. It's very exciting and weird and OH MY GOSH I LOST THE PLOT AGAIN but at the same time it's interesting and philosophical and witty and funny almost in an undertale-style way. I tried to draw fanart and was terrible at it, like I usually am. Darn.
Well, at least there's Monstercat, right? They're almost at their one hundredth podcast! exciting stuff! their newest compilation was SO AWESOME. I love it. I'm listening to one of their podcasts right now actually.
This headset that I'm wearing definitely makes me look like one of those people in "Online Help & Service" that works minimum wage and deals with so much that they're dead inside. That's pretty cool. I think I'll keep the look.
Speaking of looks, I've been meaning to re-dye my hair! I need to make an appointment, because I still hate the weird color it is now. Also it would be nice to get my hair trimmed. Maybe I'll dye it black on the surface and blue or something underneath, or maybe like a dark inky blue or something. I don't know. It's really frustrating that most color companies don't stock much blue or any unnatural colors in general because there are so many colors of blue! and you're only giving me like 3 colors! it's annoying!
I believe I may (definitely) have a cold. It's bugging me. My throat hurts and has gunk in it. I wish we had a vaccine against the common cold. That would be awesome. I would be first in line. Even though I hate getting shots. Well, we can only hope that science can advance to cure one of the most frequent diseases that plague us, especially when it actually does kill people! not much but still!
I can't wait for my friends to come over. It feels like it's been forever and I have so much to discuss and OH MY GOSH I FORGOT TO TELL THEM LAST TIME ABOUT THAT ONE THING
anyways.
YouTuber of the Day is Monstercat. Because Monstercat is Monstercat is Monstercat.
Song of the Day... gosh, it's so hard to pick! So many good ones! I'll pick a couple:

- Jauz & Pegboard Nerds- Get On Up (YULTRON Remix)

SORRY FOR THE HIATUS!
I want to apologize for not posting in forever D: I would have, but stuff like school was keeping me tied up. I'll attempt to update you on stuff that's happened, and probably miss a lot of stuff!
- Most notably, I started reading Homestuck. What an undertaking!
- I went to a bouncy house palace place and got slide-burn.
- I got my parents and sister to start listening to dubstep! (yay!)
- I was on a podcast called What Should I Read Next (it's by Anne Bogel)!
- After seeing many, many posts about a certain cartoon series on Tumblr, I decided to watch just one episode.
- I subsequently got super addicted. I'm going to spend most of my time ranting about this, Undertale, Homestuck, Dan and Phil, and Harry Potter along with many other things.
- Most of this blog post will be about Homestuck and that cartoon series.
So exciting! Much ye!
~Homestuck~
Wow. This is... a thing. I don't know exactly what to call it, because it's not really a book, or a comic, or a game. It's just... Homestuck. That's the only way to describe it. It's a modern Odyssey. Quite literally, thousands of pages. Imagine a vast Saharan desert. That's what it is, page-wise. It's the tale simply of a little boy wanting to play a computer game with his friends. But then it gets into things with imagination and blurs the lines between reality and dreaming, and what's real life or a video game, and what does it mean to be a chosen one, and... yeah. It starts very slow but then has a turnaround like you wouldn't imagine. It picks up SO QUICKLY. I had trouble following some of the plot at times, but it wasn't usually that hard. Usually. It's sort of like a collection of short stories in the same universe? But they really aren't? Ugh, it's hard to describe. But you should still definitely read it! (It did make me laugh out loud on more than a few occasions.)
~The Cartoon~
So it's called Miraculous, sometimes called Miraculous Ladybug. It's about a girl. She gets earrings and a magical fairy whom can be called upon to transform into Ladybug, a superhero who fights crime with a yo-yo and kills magic dark butterflies. Basically, it's a gateway drug into anime. Originally, it came out in France and Korea, but Nick is working on doing an English dub for us americans :D I've been mostly looking at the subtitled ones currently, although I listened to one dubbed one and it wasn't too bad. Oh, and that's not all: She fights alongside another person called Chat Noir (black cat in french) whom is actually Adrien, who is the son of a really rich businessman and who does photoshoots for perfume and such, who she also has a crush on because he goes to their school. But he doesn't want to get involved with her non-Ladybug form (a girl called Marinette) because he as Chat Noir has a crush on Ladybug, and he doesn't know they're the same person. Basically, it's complicated and cute and anime for people that don't watch anime. I love it.
It's easier to understand if you're watching it, really! The origin story hasn't been quiiiiite worked out yet, but you'll see. I have become a convert of the cult. Thanks, Tumblr.
Well, those are the new fandoms I'm in currently! Sorry for ranting and not actually posting, but I'm on spring break and should have time to actually post a post later in the week :D sorry for taking a break and happy to be back!

Midnight Rant!
Hey guys
so if I have insomnia and nothing else to do, I might be going on here, titling a post "Midnight Rant" or something, and proceeding to talk about random topics at random for a while until I get sleepy again while listening to rad music. pls note: spoilers are included in all of them for everything. if you abhor bad grammar or spelling, please do not spell check me in the comments; I'm trying to get tired and don't have time for nonsense such as grammar and things. I'll also use run-on sentences and tons of terrible spelling so yeeeeah! let's go!!! (this is like where I put my thoughts instead of blogging on tumblr)
hokay so i watched the gravity falls special secret show thing and it was really good so you should watch it too because it has secrets about the show and it's hirsch and lamby lamby dance yeah basically
oh and i kissed someone i liked today which was super amazing and then i ran off and was pumped because half day omg and the constitution test didn't stand a chance and i was already pumped and then I crashed because my dad stopped my perfect afternoon by saying "YOU KNOW WHAT WE GON STAY HOME" and i was gonna have a home alone night but noooo and he didn't even ask what i got on the test and i need someone to rant to madly so i thought let's blog and play minecraft and today i also spent like an hour on coloring in a heart because stupid thing says it's for drawing and doesn't have a fill function like seriously even windows paint has a fill function what was their budget for this thing but i got it done and did some effects and i'm satisfied with it
all my friends are in bed, and i probably should be in bed too it's really late but idc who knows i might stay up all night just because i can. okay gracc this is bad thinking for being an insomniac battling their insomnia. i'm thirsty. let's get a drink of water.

hOI!!!
i iz TEM! these friend TEM!
Nice to see everyone today! How're you? (I'm in a cheery mood because I got a good amount of sleep, the sun is shining outside, and I have peaceful music on.) I had a very, very busy time and got a lot of stuff done and wanted to update but couldn't find any time. So let's see.

- I got TATINOF tickets (yAYA!!!)
- my friend took too many antidepressant pills (31 pills too many) and ended up at home with an IV (nONO!!!)
- my friend returned today (yAYAYA!!!!!)
Yeah. Lots of stuff. Soooooooooooo hello again then! I still haven't gotten over the fact that GRAVITY FALLS IS OVER and am immersing myself in fanart. Also in Undertale fanart. Also in crossover fanart. Just generally fanart of everything. Also, I'm doing an essay on "People that Changed the World for the Better" and I picked Dan Howell. Because he really has. I mean, there are lots of his fans that have depression and stuff and he makes them feel better about themselves. He even was part of a 24-hour radio special on BBC Radio 1 to have people donate to a charity! So yeah. He has bettered the world. (I also wanted an excuse to watch YouTube until my eyes fell out. Which I now have.)
HEY HEY THIS IS THE NEXT DAY
Guess who just CRUSHED the Constitution Test! (moi!) I AM SO HAPPY! Eighth grade ain't ready for me! And it's a half day too, so that's AWESOME. We got to watch National Treasure, which I had no idea about until now, and it was actually good! Especially with some friends, after being happy about passing the constitution test. Oh, something else- Monstercat, one of my favorite releasers has a podcast! I just now figured that out. It's a good podcast. Mostly music! Very much goodness! Listen to it! (they're on their 95th episode right now.) It's an HOUR of dubstep, electronic, dance music. All of it is COOL. so please check it out!

SORRY I HAVE NOT POSTED
It's been a looong time. Sorry 'bout that, I just couldn't gain access to a computer on which to write about my life. To be honest, it's been... fairly boring. (This blog is called the boring life of racartiara, not the exciting life of racartiara, after all.) I'm going to get my hair trimmed on Thursday, by the way- I'm quite happy about that as it means I'm one step closer to getting my hair a different color! (I'm thinking maybe whitish-purple-blue?) Anyway, we got a lot of snow, and then lost a lot of snow. We also actually built the hammock we got last summer! (yay?) It was fun, but then it got colder out and I had to go inside.
On a side note, we went to the annual motorcycle show with our neighbors and their kids, and that was fun. (I wanted to get a tattoo, but my parents said no.) I played the "How-Much-Merch-Can-You-Collect" game, which is a simple game: you just travel around the show, looking for a specific brand or a specific color, and you see how much you can collect in one day! When doing a Progressive (trademark sign) run, I got fifteen things. (They sponsored the show.) Overall, it was pretty fun, with the exception of the food, which was, to be frank, terrible. They also had a stunt show, which looked AWESOME, but then one guy crashed, and it wasn't as cool. I hope he's safe and healthier now- he was doing a wheelie, and when he stopped, he flew over the handlebars, rolled the bike, and crashed into the guardrail. Ouch. Thank goodness he was wearing a helmet.

Ash Wednesday!
(ash wednesday is today, if you didn't know.)
How are you? I have a question- does anyone actually look up my recommendations? If you don't, I don't see the point in recommending anything. Please let me know in the comments- feedback is appreciated!
Today, dear viewers, I'm going to talk about Sans the skeleton. From the video game Undertale. I feel it's best to not continue if you:

Today, dear viewers, I'm going to talk about Sans the skeleton. From the video game Undertale. I feel it's best to not continue if you:
- abhor spoilers (I'm gonna spoil stuff)
- haven't played Undertale, and want to play it without spoilers
- have played Undertale, but haven't played it more than one of the routes (or in the case of Pacifist, all the way through True Pacifist) and don't want spoilers
So yeah, continue if you DARE. If you wanna comment about the post but your comment contains spoilers, please preface it with [SPOILERS] so people don't get the game ruined. (I take the highest precautions in making sure you don't hear info you don't want.) If it contains spoilers and isn't prefaced, I WILL have it reported as spam. Please be careful, okay? HEY HEY! BUT WAIT! I'll put a line of red where the spoilers end, because I'm gonna talk about some other stuff, 'kay? Just go there for not-spoily stuff and my stuff.
So yeah. Sans. He's pretty awesome. I'll talk about the happy parts before the sad parts. He's the laziest bag o' bones this side of the planet, and always, always wears a blue hoodie. But then again, you probably knew that. If you didn't, LEAVE NOW and at least look him up on the Internet. Anyways, he's really amazing. Sometimes, too amazing. People have been known to have crushes on him or Papyrus, and I've seen a lot of Tumblr fanart that I don't wish to describe. (it was a dare, okay?) I'm not gonna lie, if I encountered him IRL, I'd probably want to date him. In fact, I do indeed have a crush on him. Buuuuut that doesn't justify what people have done to him on the Internet through fanart. I'm not going to say anything, or it would ruin the family-friendly approach I try to take on this blog. (Look it up on your own time if you really want to know. Please don't.) I really like the fact that he's taken so many different forms through AUs, and each type of Sans is different and special. The Christmas Party AU is a good example of this; it's by @loverofpiggies, who's my ultimate senpai. Christmas Party is basically where all the sanses get together for a Christmas Party, accompanied by three Papyri (Papyruses?) and one Gaster. So far, there's Scientist AU, Classic, Underfell, Underswap, Reapertale, and Genocide, although I anticipate more. I'm excited. Too excited, in fact. loverofpiggies is too amazing. They have made approx. half the AUs in the fandom. Seriously. Everything they touch turns into an AU. Anyways, enough about le senpai. Back to Sans. I'm not saying that I have a favorite Sans, because that would be favoritism. (Although I find Underswap unbearably fluffy and want to put him in a big ol' fluffy sweater.) They're all amazing skeletons. Now for the sad parts. Sans is sooo identifiable because, like him, I have undiagnosed depression... and it really isn't fun. I find it unbearably sad that out of all of the characters, Sans never really wants to hurt you. Everyone else only fights you because "humans must die" and all, or because it's for your own good. Sans? He only fights you because you killed Papyrus. Even then, since he knows about the timelines, he recognizes the fact that you were friends before. He even wishes "they" didn't make him do this. It breaks my heart when I watch someone fight him. I'd also like to note that he's really strong, but his HP is only 1. This is because HP doesn't stand for Health, but HOPE. He has barely any hope left after seeing every timeline. But something doesn't fit. He's too strong for one HP. This is where his laziness comes in- sleeping heals HP above max, right? What does he do every day? SLEEP. Anyways, yeah, he's reeeeeally hard to beat. Never gonna play Genocide because I can't handle killing the bae. Sorry not sorry. On the plus side, someone started Cheer Up The Skeleton Week on Tumblr, which is all about cheering up Sans! (we're right in the middle of the week right now, actually.) It's super amazing because he's being happy and cheerful again, and I just want to scream from how happy that makes me. And I identify in so many ways with this guy. We both have younger siblings that we would quite literally die to protect, and die to swear vengeance on who killed them. We're aware of things that never happened (see: my brother being a disembodied spirit who isn't alive or anything), and yeah. Anyways, Sans. Cool guy! End of rant!

Running Is Very Hard
(we did running drills in gym. I was out of breath the rest of the day.)
So, hey! How's everyone been! It's currently Fitness Night at my sister's school. There are a lot of very little kids. I've retreated into the internet to post. I'm sort of envious of the fact that my little sister has a rock wall in her gym. We don't get a rock wall, and I'm six grades older than her! She also gets cool roll-y scooters (if you haven't been on one, you haven't really lived). There are a lot of kids shooting baskets, and failing miserably. People are giving me strange looks because of my blue hair. I have headphones on so I don't have to listen to everyone screaming. Oh, they're having a meeting!
Okay, it seems like it was nothing important. Just some 'rules of play' and stuff. Now they're doing a warm-up. This'll be fun.
They're going to play a tag-like game. I'm very glad that I have 'homework', or I'd be enmired in all of this nonsense. Here are the rules of the game "Flusher Tag":
- People have pool noodles.
- They use these to tag people.
- Once tagged, you get on one knee and put out your hand flat.
- When you get "flushed", or someone pushes down your hand, you are back in the game.
- After thirty seconds, the game ends, and if you have a pool noodle, you drop it and go somewhere else, letting someone else pick it up.
Okay, the music is kinda catchy. At least my mom and sister are having fun, if not me. There will also be snacks in the cafeteria afterwards, so that's something.
Kids seem to have almost boundless energy. I can't imagine running for hours on end. That might, however, be because I've been on the Internet for a while and have been conditioned to not go outside. (The winter weather? ugh.) There has now become an impassable mire of people. I can't escape. At least I have the Internet to keep me company.
Let's talk about the weather. Here, it's freezing and snowy. Only a few inches, but it's windy as all heck and feels like negative 3 degrees fahrenheit. How is the weather on your side of the world? I wanna know!
Don't really have much to say at this point. I'll see how the snacks are.

Skis and Slopes
(in case you don't understand, this will be about the ski retreat and what happened there, with some other stuff thrown in for good measure)
So on Friday, I packed and then went to my friend's house. We went to the church to get packed in the car and leave... and found nobody there. Turns out the pastor had to go and deliver a baby. We waited for three hours on devices, then actually left at around nine thirty PM. We drove until ten thirty, when we got settled in and checked in. We stayed up until around midnight. I had to bring tons of "healthy" snacks (leftover fruit snacks from my sister's birthday party, and Goldfish), and everyone else had exotic delicacies like Twix Bites and pull-apart watermelon Twizzlers. They also brought juice and Doritos. All amazing things, especially because they didn't mind sharing. I maaaay have devoured most of the Twizzlers.
The next day, it was time for SKIING! (is that the right spelling?) We got up, put on what felt like twenty layers of clothing, and somehow got to breakfast. After a delicious meal of things such as banana muffins and sausages, we went to the car and drove to the skiing mountain. I fell asleep. Once we got there, we checked in and then got in our gear! Ski boots are INSANELY hard to put on and walk in, or basically do anything in. Darn things must have weighed twenty pounds. The helmet was pretty easy to put on, though. I got some "Lime" skis and suffered through a two-hour-long lesson that went WAY too slow. I didn't use 99% of the tips he taught us, and it took way too long to be useful. It took the entire morning. I had lunch, then we got to actually ski. I only went down some bunny hills, but it was extremely fun. My arms hurt, and my feet have blisters. It was still pretty awesome. I also tried Takis for the first time. They're really, REALLY good. The only spicy thing I'll ever eat. mmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Sorry, got too enraptured. After we skiied, we took off our boots and stuff and it felt SO GOOD. You know when you get off a trampoline and jump and feel like "what? why aren't I jumping?" It was the opposite of that. It felt really good. Afterwards, we got in the car and drove back. It turns out that some cars were on the ice of the lake and went through when the ice melted. Thankfully, nobody was hurt, least of all us, but it was pretty close. Anyways, we came back and had dinner and then "fellowship", a church thing that was pretty cool and team-build-y and actually the best churchy thing I've had. We had ice cream, went to bed, et cetera.
Sunday, we woke up and packed. Then we went to breakfast and church. It was a really fast service- maybe forty-five minutes at most. I liked it because it was brief and still taught me a lot. I never thought I'd like church. Hm, interesting. Anyways, after that, we packed up and drove home, then me and my friend hung out at their church for a bit until her mom got back. Then we hung out at her house until my dad came to pick me up. All in all, it was fun. Challenging, but fun. The other girls were nice (they shared their takis, so I am forever indebted) and I enjoyed the break from reality. Not much else to report- so I'm going for now.
Bye!

heyheyhey
(this is the actual post about my life for today)
So let's start with some important news: from today (Friday) until Sunday, I'm going skiing at a ski retreat with one of my friends. As happy as this makes me, it means I won't be able to blog at all for Saturday or probably Sunday either, so I'll tell you lots when I get back. I wanted to make sure y'all were aware.
In other news, I got my flip phone today! It looks like an ancient artifact compared to my iPhone, but it works to call people and that's really what it's supposed to be used for. I just finished reading the book Every Soul A Star by Wendy Mass, and I really recommend it to everyone! It's really good, and the descriptions of things are amazing. I'm not going to spoil stuff for you, only that it's about three teenagers, an eclipse, and a life-changing summer. I think I'm going to re-read The Martian because I want another book to read. I'm bored.
I'm really tired. Too tired to really do anything. I'm not sure how I'm going to do a weekend of skiing if I'm already really tired from staying up normally.
It's Hat Day at school. You donate a dollar and then you can wear a hat. Someone donated and is now wearing a hat under a hood under a flower crown. Wow.

i'm chilly
Our bus came late and I had to stand outside for an hour. It apparently had a feels-like of seven degrees, so I'm hoping I didn't get frostbite. I'm also pretty hungry.
Besides that, I'm doing great! How 'bout you?
I was looking through my old pictures and found a lot of regrettable photos. Yeesh. Did I really look that bad? (Check the archive if you want to see my total fetus hair. Actually, please don't check the archive. My fetus hair is terrible.) I also rearranged the blog a bit, so it's easier to sign up to follow my blog and be on the mailing list every time I post a new post! It's right across from here, at least it should be. Also, I might totally upheave the blog and give it diff colors and stuff- what do you think? I'll also look into polling and stuff. Maybe I can do a weekly poll... that would be cool.
Anyways, not much to say about today! Sorry!

It's really cloudy outside
Exactly what it sounds like in the title.
Normal Gracc here! Nice to see you again! Evil twin's gonna be gone for a while. They said they had things to do. I'm not really going to ask what 'things' they were talking about, I'm going to enjoy my time here.
How has everyone been? I got Undertale (finally). I'm not very far yet, but I'm getting there. I'm not going to tell you what's happening right now (not gonna spoil stuff), but I've been checking out all the easter eggs and having tons of fun! I reeeeeeeeeeeeally want all the new official merch that's out (I need an undertale shirt), and I've checked it out and found some easter eggs along with the fact that Sans wearing pink slippers is now canon. That's pretty awesome.
Apparently some of my classmates check my blog because "it's like their own personal soap opera". Not sure what to make of that, but I'll say okay, because it means that they're checking it daily.
We had an assembly today about what's gonna happen in eighth grade and high school. I get to choose an elective! (I think I'm gonna take Spanish, because I need two years in order to get into some colleges that I might want to go to.)
It's really pretty outside right now- even though it rained pretty hard yesterday. The groundhog predicted early spring, and I think that's being felt in nature- first rain to melt most of the snow, and now geese are returning from the south! They say that animals can feel things before we can, and are more in-tune with nature than us- examples include dogs and cats being the first to run before an event like an earthquake or tornado, even before our scientific tools can predict it, geese leaving right before a winter storm's going to hit, and pigeons and other birds being able to return to a specific place. It's sort of interesting.
I've recently noticed that because I have synthesia, I can sort of feel if a song speeds up a bit or slows down a bit in places, and it's started to impact more and more. Even a tiny difference makes the song feel off. Also, I've started hearing songs and just being like "man, that song's really clean." What I mean is that it doesn't really have that many things in my soundscape, and sounds fairly simple. This isn't necessarily bad or good, I enjoy lots of clean or busy songs (busy songs are the opposite, with lots of color in the soundscape), it just looks different. Usually my soundscape has things like:

- the melody, obviously, looking like a dot or trail moving along
- the harmony, being different dots and trails moving around the melody
- the beat, being a sort of background color that becomes more or less transparent
- the surrounding sounds, being sort of like colored objects that move with the melody and harmony
It usually looks pretty interesting. Some of the colors and shapes look soft, with soft edges, and others look really hard, with clean edges and simplistic colors. It's fun!

hello all!
evil gracc's here for a normal post! i'll describe the day and then switch off with normal me, who'll describe the day as well.
so, we went to math. easy stuff. then english, easy again. after that we did social studies- studying for the constitution- and we had the most boring time of our lives. after that, easy stuff. then we made dinner, and then i sat through crafts with my sister. that's it.
We had our school day, and then I helped make some dinner- umami (savory) burgers with delicious sauce and white cheddar (mmm). I played Disney Infinity (fun) and built a race track (yay), then helped my sister use her new Beados machine (if you don't know, look it up. it's interesting, really) and then watched Wheel Of Fortune with the family. It was pretty fun!
yeah, right. it wasn't fun.
Anyways, yeah! Also, I drew vines on my hand in purple Sharpie. I think it looks pretty cool. But what was I talking about? Oh yeah, reccommendations!

so, we went to math. easy stuff. then english, easy again. after that we did social studies- studying for the constitution- and we had the most boring time of our lives. after that, easy stuff. then we made dinner, and then i sat through crafts with my sister.

After-birthday Party! (aka Gracc Drabbles)
It's the day after my birthday, I'm on a three-day posting streak, all is right with the world. My parents gave me and my sister Disney Infinity 3.0 for our birthday, which has been fun so far. We got the Star Wars set. I'm excited. Personally, I got a check for 25 dollars from my grandparents and a $30 dollar GameStop gift card from my parents. I will be spending these very soon.
Now that it's after my birthday, it's gonna be a while until there are more 'presents'. Since Christmas and our birthdays are very close together (or very far apart, depending how you look at it), usually we have presents, a one-month hiatus, and then more presents. It's sort of cool, but then the rest of the year we don't really get anything. Sometimes I wish it was more evenly spaced. I learned that I was born around 2:30 in the morning, which explains my night-owlish tendencies. My sister was born around 4 in the afternoon, which explains why she has no problem with insomnia.
I'm currently reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Azkaban. By that, I mean I've read around five pages. I just started it now. Before I was reading it, I have been reading The Book Thief, Ready Player One, Roller Girl, and Wings Of Fire. All very good books if you want to check them out.
I recently tried to get back into the MLP fandom. It's sort of hard because they aren't releasing any new episodes, but I'm making it work. Until I'm inevitably drawn back towards UNDERTALE. Yeah. Undertale is my life. That's a fact. Trying to struggle only makes the bonds tighter. That's a fact. I tried to watch Steven Universe, to see if it could help drag me out of the hole, but nooooo. I couldn't even watch a whole episode. It's sort of scary, really; I feel like I've been hypnotized by Toby Fox. THE CONSPIRACY THEORIES BEGIN!
Instead of going to a sushi place last night, we went to a grill place. I got a personal pizza and ate all of it. The crust was perfectly crisped, even down to the middle. The sausage and cheese were mouthwatering, simply mouthwatering. And after we were there, we bought some delicious ice cream and ate that. Mint chocolate chip is awesome.
My headphones aren't working in one ear unless I hold the cord in a special position. Maybe I'll use that GameStop card to buy myself some new headphones. Maybe. We'll see. It's a nuisance, and I've been meaning to get some new headphones recently. Mental note made: buy headphones at GameStop. Done.
My birthstone is a garnet, and my star sign is Aquarius. I was born three days before the birthday of Phil Lester, and as such, we share the fact that our birthstone is a garnet and our star sign is Aquarius. I like this fact. There is a seventeen years' difference between our ages. This is interesting. I'm interested in the US tour. I want to go to the US tour. Maybe I'll spend my money on the US tour. Maybe I'll take a friend to the US tour. The US tour is very interesting, and why I watch the YouNows of both of them. Also because I want to hear about what's happening in their life.
For the science project, our carnivorous tree is coming nicely. I'm proud of the genus I picked; I think it's a good genus for a giant tropical tree. (The genus literally means giant tropical tree.) Don't touch the tree, kids, you'll die. Really. You will probably die from touching the tree. It secretes deadly poison. Please don't touch the tree. It might take over the world someday. Who knows.
Math is pretty easy. I had a fifteen-page packet and I finished it in twenty minutes. It's a good thing, because it means I understand the subject and can write for this blog more, but it's bad because it means from this point on in the unit I won't really learn anything.
A person in my class is reading the Maximum Ride series. Man, I like that series. It's a good series. A really good series. Sort of sad, but it's good too. I'm glad that it's over, but also sort of sad it's over because I want more adventures with the flock. Maybe they'll make movies. That would be awesome. After all, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out in 2007 (when I was three) and the first movie came out in 2001. That's a six-year overlap. That's not bad. Considering that the books took a long time to write. Actually...
*googles*
it's apparently in production. Finally. I'm looking forward to it. After reading all the books, manga, and fan-blogs, I think I'm ready for a movie. This is long overdue. Very long overdue. This makes me happy.
Yeah, so those were some drabbles about my life in general and random thoughts I've had. Leave comments for any more drabbles you want to hear because I read the comments. I get a mail notification each time someone leaves a comment. I want to hear your comments..

happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday, happy birthday...
Hey everyone! I'm trying to post daily, and although we all know that's not going to work for more than three days, I'm gonna try! I don't care if it's not gonna work; I'm still going to try to post daily. Daily posts.
It's my birthday! Yay! We now have more pageviews than years of A.D.! (we have 2017 pageviews currently) That's pretty cool! I'm very proud. Anyways, that's been talked about before, so I don't need to go over it too much- let's talk about my life for once!
School has been fairly fun. I'm happy that I'm in Art class now instead of Agriculture. We're working on perspective drawings, which make it look three-dimensional. It's fun, but sort of hard to wrap your mind around because you're too busy looking at how much depth there is to think of them as rectangles. In Social Studies, we're looking at the branches of government (Executive, currently), and it's interesting stuff. I didn't really know all that much about the government (because I didn't really care, mostly), and it's sort of cool the way that we've set it up. In ELA, we're looking at responsibilities and decisions, which I don't really understand how to tie into ELA, but it's useful information anyway. Math is slope and functions, which I know already. In Science, we're doing a new project where we invent an animal. I'm mostly there to keep my partner from submitting a landshark. Instead, we're making a carnivorous tree that will eventually rule the world. Seriously, it's extremely hard-to-stop. If this thing existed in real life, it would probably already have taken over the world. It also looks really cool. Currently, I'm working on Traipse, and getting somewhere- a bit. I just finished editing out the money trouble differences that I needed to edit out, and that's been extremely helpful. This won't make sense right now, but it will eventually. I really want to publish a book, really. I don't have a publisher, however, and I don't want to self-publish, because I have to pay an amount for each book made. I also will be needing an editor (besides my lovely friend Callie, who's been helping as I go), and I've been thinking of maybe contacting a local university. I'm not quite sure as of yet, but I've been telling myself to focus on the present, and finish writing the book before worrying about an editor or publisher. Hopefully that'll help.
My life's been fairly banal as of recent times, but I hope that will change sometime. I suppose I'll tell you about the fact that since it's my birthday, we're going to Sushi Station for dinner! I'm looking forward to it, as I like sushi a lot and haven't been in years. It's a cool sushi restaurant where the sushi comes by on a conveyor belt, and you pay because of the color of the plates (a white one costs one dollar, a yellow costs two dollars, et cetera). I really like pickled ginger, and as such, I use a lot on things such as the rice-fish things. SO FLAVORFUL.
You know how I've been sucked into the Undertale fandom? I've been dragging my friends down with me. Most of my friends are now huge Undertale fans as well. I'm hoping I can convince my parents to get me the game for my birthday. (After all, it's only $9.99 on Steam.) I'm sort of worried I won't be good at it, though, because I'm not good at bullet hell games at all. And that's if I can even be convincing enough to get the game. Anyways, wish me luck.
I have to return to the real world, where my friend is searching pictures of Obama Llama and sending them to me. Bye!

HEY HEY HEY GUYS WE DID IT WE REALLY DID IT
GUYS! WE DID IT! WE HAVE 2000 PAGEVIEWS! YES! WE HAVE DONE IT! IT TOOK ME LIKE A YEAR TO GET TO 1000 AND I GOT TO 2000 IN LIKE NO TIME AT ALL! IT'S SO AMAZING! THANK EVERYONE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE YAY YES!
(people to which I am giving thanks are below, and after that I'll write "TRAINS" so you know when to stop scrolling if you don't want to see the thanks)
I thank:
- Rain Potter
- Callie Terdina
- Jess Nightflame
- Happistar
- Kristy Boo
- Skylar K.
- hellorubyatenate
- my IRL friends who don't have online accounts (Alyssa, Evelyn, Callie, Rachel, Bianca, Amber, etc.)
Thank you all so much for supporting me and everything! When I started this blog, I thought it would be ultra amazing if we could get to 100 views, and now we have two THOUSAND?! It's pretty awesome what we can do with only a bit of effort from everyone. I'd also like to thank anyone who's viewed this blog that I haven't mentioned, because I want you to feel like you've been thanked for looking at my little blog in a small corner of the dodecahedron that the internet is. I'm eternally grateful to everyone for getting me to two thousand views, and I feel that we've grown a little since we started. My birthday's tomorrow, and this is the best birthday gift ever. I'm so happy that we could make it this far and I look forward to everything in the future!
TRAINS
So my day's been fairly average currently. I had a very small birthday party with a few friends, during which we may or may not have stayed up until 2 AM playing Minecraft and roleplaying. (It was very fun.) My little sister's party is coming up, and I'll get to have cake, so I'm happy about that! I got a few interesting things for my birthday, including:
A minecraft minifigure
A book on how to mod Minecraft and create your own mods
A book on writing prompts and different ones to use
A Barnes and Noble gift card
Rolos galore (:D)
All very good birthday gifts, I must say.
I've been reading some really cool books recently, including the Unwanteds series (it's pretty cool if you want to check it out), and re-reading the Harry Potter series. If I could have a superpower right now, it would be to have the power to read a book like it's the first time every time I read it, because you never really get that spark back, and I wish you could. Speaking of superpowers, what would you want yours to be? Comment below with your superpower of choice!
Not much to say other than the birthday party was fun, and recommendations for today! For the YouTuber, I must say Erica Wester, because she's the creator of the short animation Welcome To Hell, which is really, really cool. Check it out. Now. Please. Thanks. For a song, Fade by Alan Walker is really good because it has a really catchy melody, and I was listening to it while writing this.
Summary: two thousand views, I had a birthday party, and I want to hear about superpowers.

Howdy!
I'm Flowey!
Flowey the Flower!
So my life's been going well so far. I've been caged by the Undertale fandom, but besides that, things are as normal. I started a Health unit on nutrition, and in honor, I want to tell you: EAT HEALTHY. Please.
Since I got no support for the Internet Week (thanks, guys!) I've invented a handy replacement! (You brought this upon yourselves.) Fandom Week! I'll discuss the different fandoms I'm in, and then I'll recommend different channels based on what I'm talking about! It starts on Sunday, and ends on Saturday. Tomorrow is Friday. Watch out.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
(Also, everything in the fandoms will probs contain MASSIVE spoilers, so...)

3rd Quarter! (plus new thing)
So I'm about to enter the third quarter of my first year at my new school! I'm fairly excited because it means I get to take Art, and fairly intrigued by said class. We might also have more people in our Choir, and that's always fun! I'm happy for that!
So, now that that's over with, let's talk about some not-my-life stuff. (I would talk about my life more, really, but I have nothing to say! My life's been boring!) So, I'm gonna talk about a thing I might do.
So I enjoy and am a purveyor of a lot of Internet culture, and I'd like to talk about that. I'll make an agreement with you: if people like the "sample post" below, then comment you liked it and I will post every day until Friday with more Internet-y stuff. Note that this won't be anything about me, and I'll update you if anything has happened through the week on Saturday. I'll post the entire week, once every day, and there will be song reccomendations and YouTuber reccomendations as well, not necessarily tying in with the stuff I'm talking about. So read the sample below, and comment or something saying you liked it if you want to see more!
Hey, everyone! Today we're going to talk about OCs, short for Original Characters. I make OCs, because I enjoy doing them. A few rules I put in place for myself are:
1. Must have developed backstory and preferences. i.e. They need a story before they can be considered good.
2. They can't be near the canon characters. For example, for Harry Potter, participating in the Battle of Hogwarts is fine, but being Hermione's sister is not.
3. They need good traits. Making someone overpowered is never a good idea, and most people don't like it. Every character needs a flaw or two. It can be something as simple as jealousy, or as complicated as depression.
I enjoy planning my OC by sketching it or using a website before coming up with a story. For example, I have an OC named Flowerdancer that I made using General Zoi's Pony Creator that I made a good backstory for. Try to pick something online with lots of options, or just draw it. I personally aren't very good at drawing so I usually use an online program instead. If you want, you can draw your OC once it's done, adding effects and your personal style, or write some stories about their life. If people like them enough, you might even start getting questions about them, in which case you can set up an ask blog if you want to. This can allow people that like the OC to learn more about it, and it gives you an opportunity to flesh out your character, so to speak. Anyways, yeah, that's my guide on how to make an OC. Hope you enjoyed it, and happy Internet travels!
Song today is Stay With Me by Diamond Eyes feat. Christina Grimmie
YouTuber today is Shawn Wasabi (I know I've done him before, but he posted a new video and I absolutely love it. It's called Burnt Rice, and it is really amazing, awesome, and I give it an A.

hOi!
So even though this is a deviation from the norm, I thought I would talk about a game today instead of my life! NOTE: it has spoilers for the game so if you don't want spoilers don't look! They aren't very spoily but still
Undertale.
It would not do this game justice to say it was amazing. This game was much more than that. It pulled the right heartstrings while being very humorous and deep at the same time. First, a little history.
Undertale was originally a Kickstarter project that wanted around $5000 to make a small game. It got $55,000. Amazing. I know. Toby Fox got together with some friends and made it a big game and stuff! The finished version is available on Steam, and overall, going through normally, it takes around 4-5 hours to complete.
The game is centered around the main character, a fallen human that has fallen into the Underground, where the monsters have been housed since the humans sealed them underground with a magical spell. You can choose three paths: Neutral, where you kill some things and spare others, Genocide, where you kill everything in your path (arguably the hardest path to play, reasons stated below), and True Pacifist, where you do not kill anything. Undertale is unique in that it can be played without killing anything. Not something you usually see in an RPG, huh?
The different paths cause you to face different struggles, and each one has benefits and drawbacks. Genocide is arguably the hardest because of a certain pair of skeleton brothers. Also, Genocide is very morally taxing. Killing everything in your path isn't very humane, and you know it. People with any sort of sympathy usually don't end up doing more than one full Genocide run.
Game mechanics: You run with arrows, and like a standard RPG, you eat for HP. One difference- LV stands for LOVE, not Level. You'll see why. When you enter a fight and the other person attacks, you enter a bullet hell-type simulator where you try to dodge everything coming. Different things hurt your HP more. And the only way to increase your LOVE is by killing monsters. If you are a pacifist, your HP stays at 20 and you end up at LV 1 the entire game. It's not bad, really. There are different monsters you can fight throughout the game, and many, MANY different bosses you can beat or compromise with. Plot-wise, the characters are really well-developed, the plot is definitely intense and good, and many parts made me just plain laugh out loud-or cry with grief. It's awesome there.
The fanbase is pretty great- there are so many things out there, from arts to edits to songs to parodies to videos to everything! (I'm listening to one right now by the way). The fanbase has also created many more facets to the characters than are demonstrated in the original game, and have come up with some really cute stuff that makes me want to freakin' giggle! It's pretty cool, and there are definitely some tear-jerking things out there as well. It's the second fandom that I've drawn art for (a sketch, at least). You'll learn much more if you delve into the wide, wide world of Undertale, and go ahead and take the butterscotch-cinnamon pie. Go forward and conquer! Or make friends! It's all great! Just great!
Song recommendation: Stronger Than You (Sans Parody)- it's pretty cool, and explains some stuff about genocide run idk it's just good
YouTuber recommendation: Cryaotic (because he played Undertale and I enjoyed it).
UNDERTALE THEMED EVERYTHING! YAY!

So how're you?
Personally, I'm doing well.
I am THRILLED with the success of my blog in 2015, and I hope that 2016 has even more to come! (like two thousand views yay!) I'm really happy about getting 1000 views and stuff, and I'd like to say that YOU CAN FOLLOW MY BLOG TO GET NOTIFIED FOR POSTS AND STUFF so please follow it and then you won't have to be checking all the time to see when I post new stuff! At least, I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Hopefully.
My life has been pretty boring recently, except for a few things:

My life has been pretty boring recently, except for a few things:
- on the first day back to school, I fell down the stairs and hurt my tailbone/leg/arm
- I've slipped on ice several times
- my family and I finished season 1 of gravity falls
I have a really satisfying habit of breaking ice. It's pretty easy to do and I really like doing it because it feels really satisfying. I just slam down on the ice with my heel and break it, so that it comes off in huge chunks that I can throw if I want to. It also helps when you don't have any rock salt but want to break ice. You can try it sometime if you want to!
I'm making a cool newspaper thing with my friends for my English class and it's about freedom, so I got to research animal abuse and now I'm really passionate about the subject. Did you know that people enjoy putting cats in microwaves? Or sealing their dog's mouth shut with duct tape? This happens ALL THE TIME, and if you have any vestige of kindness in you, you'll try to help it stop. You can donate to PETA or other humane organizations to help stop this from happening. Do it. Please. You did? Yay!
