3rd Quarter! (plus new thing)

So I'm about to enter the third quarter of my first year at my new school! I'm fairly excited because it means I get to take Art, and fairly intrigued by said class. We might also have more people in our Choir, and that's always fun! I'm happy for that!

So, now that that's over with, let's talk about some not-my-life stuff. (I would talk about my life more, really, but I have nothing to say! My life's been boring!) So, I'm gonna talk about a thing I might do.
So I enjoy and am a purveyor of a lot of Internet culture, and I'd like to talk about that. I'll make an agreement with you: if people like the "sample post" below, then comment you liked it and I will post every day until Friday with more Internet-y stuff. Note that this won't be anything about me, and I'll update you if anything has happened through the week on Saturday. I'll post the entire week, once every day, and there will be song reccomendations and YouTuber reccomendations as well, not necessarily tying in with the stuff I'm talking about. So read the sample below, and comment or something saying you liked it if you want to see more!

Hey, everyone! Today we're going to talk about OCs, short for Original Characters. I make OCs, because I enjoy doing them. A few rules I put in place for myself are:
1. Must have developed backstory and preferences. i.e. They need a story before they can be considered good.
2. They can't be near the canon characters. For example, for Harry Potter, participating in the Battle of Hogwarts is fine, but being Hermione's sister is not.
3. They need good traits. Making someone overpowered is never a good idea, and most people don't like it. Every character needs a flaw or two. It can be something as simple as jealousy, or as complicated as depression.
I enjoy planning my OC by sketching it or using a website before coming up with a story. For example, I have an OC named Flowerdancer that I made using General Zoi's Pony Creator that I made a good backstory for. Try to pick something online with lots of options, or just draw it. I personally aren't very good at drawing so I usually use an online program instead. If you want, you can draw your OC once it's done, adding effects and your personal style, or write some stories about their life. If people like them enough, you might even start getting questions about them, in which case you can set up an ask blog if you want to. This can allow people that like the OC to learn more about it, and it gives you an opportunity to flesh out your character, so to speak. Anyways, yeah, that's my guide on how to make an OC. Hope you enjoyed it, and happy Internet travels!

Song today is Stay With Me by Diamond Eyes feat. Christina Grimmie
YouTuber today is Shawn Wasabi (I know I've done him before, but he posted a new video and I absolutely love it. It's called Burnt Rice, and it is really amazing, awesome, and I give it an A.
