Hey guys. Dern it. I didn't post yesterday. My mom is out of town and my dad is changing all the outlets from 2-prong to 3-prong. Not much is going on, basically. I worked a bit on Hiago and got a bit through Ch. 8. Val approves. Writing a book is fun, especially when you like what you're writing about. In case you don't know, which you may not, Hiago is a science fiction book that I'm writing about a post-nuclear winter world where people can get wings. Not many spoilers there. It's from three different people's points of view, and it's fun to write how all three might experience the situation in different ways. Full of excitement, action-packed, and... I'm on Ch. 8. Hopefully I'll finish this year or 2016.
Yay.
I really don't have much going on, so I'll end the post here.

Hey guys
Hey guys!
Just checking in, seeing how everything's goin. I have posted a grand total of 2 days in a row. Self-goal: If I get 1 month in a row, I will... hmm... I will say yay. Good goal. Okay, that's done. I don't really know what to post- the day has been pretty uneventful as of yet- and I just had a cool Friday. I hung out with my friends, chatted, and did everything normal for a Friday. Have you ever thought about the fact that your entire life might be a dream, and when you die, you wake up? That is a deep thought. For another time, perhaps...

Anyways, I doodled and I drew the four Swords Of Power (Durendal the Air Sword, Joyeuse the Earth Sword, Clarent the Fire Sword, and Excalibur the Ice Sword. In the 'The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel' series, they combine powers to form a new power, Aether, and that's cool. (Not a big spoiler, but it would be if I went on, so I'll stop.) So I drew Maryethu the Aether Sword, because the guy that gets cool Aether powers is called Mareythu. So yeah. They're all made of stone. I'm quite proud, although they're just sketches.

There's all the holiday 'happies' that I should have posted.
I'm sorry, I've been so preoccupied with schoolwork lately that I haven't had a chance to post. So here's what happened:
My sister and I each got new computers with Windows 8.1 on them, and touchscreen, which is AWESOME. I'm writing my post on my new computer (previously mentioned) named Vanessa. I dropped AnnElise's (for those of you that are new, she's my annoying 6-year-old little sister) accidentally and shattered the screen, so she's using my old computer for now until hers gets fixed. For those of you that love to play Minecraft (I have a creeper shirt), don't get a new computer with Windows 8.1 (at least until Minecraft or Windows updates their systems to be compatible), because you can only run in a straight line and you can't turn your head once you start moving. It's really annoying. At least keep your old non-8.1 computer and play Minecraft on there. For any of you guys that knows a Windows- or Mojang (although they really are the same thing now) software developer, talk to them and ask them to make Minecraft compatible with the new Windows. That's my only complaint about the new software.
It's bitterly cold over here near Chicago. High today was about nine degrees-it's a heat wave!- and low was... let's see... about -10. Wow. Our principal called a 'Layer Day' (we don't wear uniform, put on lots of layers) and band was cancelled because the school we usually meet at was closed. Oh, I haven't told you about band? I'm in Advanced Band (beginner, intermediate, advanced for 3 yrs is our program, I'm in yr 1 of Advanced) and I play trumpet. Bb, because I can't find the 'flat' sign on the post menu.
Anyways, that happened. Yeah. Tomorrow is normal, but normally we wear whatever we want on Fridays.
I am MOVING! To Burlington! (Search it on Google Maps.) I'm excited, because we're moving to a house with two floors (right now, we have one floor) and it has a cool kitchen. Also, we're buying new TVs, a new couch, and various other new things. The master bedroom is HUGE and it has a little branch-off thing leading to a shower and whirlpool tub, along with two sinks on the side, and a GIANT closet that's as big as my bedroom now. The new house also has a bonus room (for those of you that are ignorant, like I was, a bonus room is a room that's in-between floors, usually on a landing, that has tilted sides, usually above a garage, kind of like an attic with a floor above it. It's not a bedroom or living room or anything, it's just bonus space as big as the master in the new house) with an alcove that would be perfect for a little wooden windowseat with built-in bookshelves. Ooh, I can see it already! We're supposed to close by March 23 and we already sold our house, and we need to move out soon. Not soon enough that we'll have to live, like, in a hotel or something, but soon. We're gonna have a family friend load stuff into a POD (http://www.pods.com/) and move it to our new house. It's gonna be fun!
