Hey guys!!!

So that ends my posting period. I'm presenting my report about the blog on the 26th of Nov. Thanks for reading :D So yeah, what happened? I:

• Went to Feed My Starving Children and helped out
• My dad got his new Scion
• Trixie's as cute as ever
• My dad let me shift on the Scion (it's an XB stick-shift, BTdubs)
• My BEE EFF EFF (BFF) Val is coming over to spend the night tomorrow (NOTE: Today is the 6th.)

So yeah. A lot of cool stuff happened. Also, my mom got the rats' nests out of the back of my hair and tonight I picked up AnnElise's room for a cute little basket and some little wooden painted 'apples', and she was crying and stuff because she didn't want to give me the basket. I might be going to see Greenroom tomorrow. What is Greenroom, you ask? Greenroom is an improvisational theater experie... You know what, just go here and it'll show you. So yeah, that's the abbreviated list of what happened. Also, I picked up my room.

Hey all!
This is my post about today. My dad took Trixie to Aurora for her vet visit. Our normal vet is here in Elgin, but we got a free vet visit- good for 5 days- for the vet in Aurora, and we figured, why waste a vet visit? So Trixie got to ride in my dad's truck on the way to the vet. She was vibrating, so I assume that she was scared. Speaking of which, m dad got a new truck. I may or may not have told you about it, but I don't think I have. It's a white Ford 150 that's 1 year old with one row of seats and nylon seat coverings that are gray. They're cool. And we gave Trixie a bath yesterday night- she was acting kind of lethargic and was vibrating so much, you could see it. We gave her Milkbones for her trouble. So yeah! We have Discovery block today, which is really cool if you know what it is, which you should unless you're, like, someone that doesn't know. That sentence was redundant. My school is having a concert on December 18th and I'm playing in band, and doing hand chimes, AND might be singing a duet thing, song at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKPK6c0mKE0

Hey there guys. Posting today so that I DON'T GET BEHIND AGAIN D:
After school today we went to Petco and bought some new toys for Trixie and that was REALLY FUN. We got her this nylon bone-thingy for her to chew on and it seems to really help. She's been being a little bit... bark-y lately. I'll try to get a picture for you.

As you can see, I'm very proud.
She is just the cutest thing.
We took her into our friends Dave and Julie's backyard and played with her new Nerf brand frisbee. It has a hole in the middle, and when she picked it up, she just looked out the hole. She was super cute and she is VERy energetic. So yeah, that's all I feel like writing today. Also we had pizza for dinner and it was bad.

THIS IS TODAY! IN OTHER WORDS, I'M CAUGHT UP!

Yay! Just wanted to say that. Good job Grace. And good job anyone that has read all of this up to now.
So it's almost 7 after a long day of school, ceramics, and Trixie (matl/more about that later). So in the morning we decided to name her Trixie or Trixie Hazel Martin for long (patent pending). Then I went to school, and we just did normal stuff and I posted on mah blog when I could and had fun and in Spanish we did day of the dead stuff cause thats comin up soon and that reminds me halloween is almost here and i dont know what im gonna be plz comment i might be a trumpet but I dont know because theres a lot to choose from and i dont know what to choose or where to get the supplies but i might use one of those cone things that dogs wear to keep them from scratching that might be good for trixie because we got her something called a gentle leader to lead her around and i just realized that this is a run on sentence with terrible grammar because that's how i planned it. So that's some info about what's happening... Trixie seemed good with being in the crate all day. My dad's taking her for a walk as I write, but he might be back soon. She HATE HATE HATES the Gentle Leader(tm) but it's like a horse having a saddle and bridle on for the first time: they may not like it, but they need it anyway. She likes playing with stuff (well duh, you say). SHE IS SO CUTE!!! I'll try and find a picture that looks like her to get you... actually, I'll just webcam it since I can and there's really no other dog (whoops, almost said cog and then don) like her. My grammar book says that parentheses are 'extraneous information not important to the thorough reading of the writing', but if you don't read the parentheses in my posts, (you're missing half the good stuff). So... I had ceramics today and I got back all my stuff! My leaf bowl looks- well, PATHETIC- because it's spotty 'cause I didn't do three coats. Honestly, I DIDN'T HAVE TIME FOR THREE COATS. DOES IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE FREAKIN TIME FOR THREE- Calm down, Grace. Focus. But yeah, that's what happened there. (Just in case you're wondering, no, I don't have ADHD or any of those attention problems and things. This is just me.)

2nd post today... I'm gonna catch up today. A LOT OF STUFF HAPPENED TODAY(the 26th)! I re-met up with my friend Quinn, who I met at this gifted program and stayed friends with. He had a dog Mouse that died and got a new dog called Emmet that he really likes. I'm not sure how to spell that, but I tried my best. So yeah, we went to a film festival in Chicago with him, which was basically a lot of short films. We got front row seats, and it was REALLY FUN! No, I don't 'like-like' him, and no, it wasn't a date, in case you're wondering, I ALREADY HAVE A BOYFRIEND. So after that we went to a place called Mariano's, which is like a cultural restaurant and a superstore all rolled into one. I got some pizza that tasted great, some Sea Salt and Vinegar chips (my mouth waters just thinking of them), and raspberry iced tea. Why is it even spelled 'rasp-berry' anyway? Does the berry make you rasp? It doesn't make me rasp either. So why in the world is it called a 'rasp-berry'? Focus, Grace. Focus. Okay, well yeah, this 60+ yr old man yelled at us 'cause we were goofing around, and that was basically the end of our being there. Then we went to the PAWS Chicago (Pets All Want to be Saved or something... wait for me to research... Oh, Pets Are Worth Saving is the acronym.) place and looked at dogs and got to meet this dog called Lotta, and we ended up taking her home. For a 14-day (now 13-day) period, we are FOSTERING-TO-ADOPT her, which basically means that we are getting her for a trial period and PAWS will take care of some vet fees and stuff, after which, if we've proved to be good owners, we can keep her. We were trying to decide on her names, and as far as we got was my suggestion of Hazel, which everyone except AnnElise, my little 5-yr old devil- I mean sister. We decided on calling her 'the dog' for the moment and we walked her, gave her her food and water, and her pills (she's not sick, they're just preventing some kennel cough, and we only have to give them to her for three days) while Dad went to Petco, but even before she came in the house, she was a lot of work- we had to run in and get everything out of mouth level! She's so cute and we lover her SO MUCH! When Dad went to Petco, he bought a crate, but no bowls (we already have some), and a thing called a KONG for her. Yes, it's called a KONG. Capital letters. Basically, it's a red rubber thing you can put treats in and the dog has to figure out how to get the treat out. (You crush it to get the treat out.) It also makes a good 'fetch' toy if you don't want to buy tennis balls. It's rubber and cool. We also got her a dental floss toy, which she refuses to play with unless someone plays tug-of-war with her, which we don't want to do unless we train her right. That's basically what happened on the 26th.

OH NOES II

Wow I spend 1 day up to date and then I get behind AGAIN. Hope to remedy this TODAY so that the thing doesn't happen again. We didn't get the dog that I showed, but I'll tell you more in next post. (BTW, this is for the 25th). Allison came over and we went to Culver's and got ice cream and actually saw the dog and met him in person at Petco. That's what happened then. Also I said I was gonna tell you about Rachel and Maisie, and I WILL NOW. SO THERE. Rachel is a tall girl with brown hair, kind of olive skin, looks like an Asian, but really only 25% Asian. So that's her, she is really nice and stuff, and she's cool. And Maisie? She hates it if you call her Maisy first of all, because that's not her name (as I've learned, the hard way). She sometimes climbs up on those old people bars in the big stall and looks at the person in the stall next to her. She's really sarcastic, witty, and funny and goes by the name Skylar M. on Google+. You're welcome for the publicity. She used to have really long hair but now it's short with a feather in it, and she's in my band.

We're having a book fair at our school and we get to make posters, and if we do, we get money to spend in the book fair NO MATTER WHAT. Then people vote on the posters (which are put up all over the school as ads) and people that get high scores get even more money and choices of new books.
I like making blogs; they're places for me to pour out my feelings and not care about grammar.
My friends (they feel like they're cousins) Rachel and Allison might be coming over tonight. They fight a lot over who gets to spend time with me, but I try to be fair and I don't mind (much). They're really cool and like narwhals and manatees (try to guess who likes what). Today, they are the FOTWs because one would be mad at me if I made it the other the FOTW and not them.

This is my 2nd post today, which is about today, so that means I'll be up to date and not filling you in on yesterday and not today, which is why I post these kinda late (my time) so that I'll be able to tell you EVERYTHING and not just small stuff that happened earlier in the day.
Today was kinda boring, except for

Didn't have time to post that little bit up there, so I gotta post now. Thing is, I don't even remember what was the 'except for' part. Oh wait! I remember! We might be getting another dog from petfinder.com. His name is Tabasco and he's kinda brownish yellow, like this:

I'm not getting my hopes up, because I posted a post eerily like this a few months ago and we didn't get the dog.

WOW.

I wish I had more time in the day to post because I DIDN'T REALLY POST YESTERDAY!
What happened: Not really much except we had Advisory Lunch. ALSO, we:

• cracked an egg,
• let the white drip out,
• put the yolk in a cup,
• poked it,
• stomped on sidewalk chalk,
• popped the membrane of the yolk,
• poured some yolk onto a paper plate,
• put the chalk in it,
• and painted with that.

It's called 'egg tempera' and it was apparently really popular during the Renaissance, because oil paints, the only other type of paint (they didn't have those Wal-Mart acrylics) cost so much and cracked more often. Plus, who wouldn't want to play with an egg yolk? It was a good oppurtunity for egg puns, too. Back then, they didn't have sidewalk chalk, so they used the next best stuff, like parsley and brick, as well as clay and regular chalk, not the sidewalk kind, but the kind that makes huge cliffs like these:

So yeah, that's what happened yesterday.

I need to post on what happened yesterday!!!!!1!
NOTE: I put that 1 in on porpoise.
So we went over to my neighbor Julie's and made cool Halloween crafts. It was SUPER FUN and we had bagles and pumpkin 'bars' (they were more like cake). I was in charge of picking a bagel out for Dave, Julie's husband. (They're retired and live just down the street.) And I picked Pumpernickel and Rye and it turned out that he really liked it! (Grace: 1, World: L0L). So yeah. That's what happened yesterday besides me doing my homework (ugh) and studying for a quiz (UGH).
I had an idea today. Maybe I could make PowerPoints and teach my mom and dad the stuff I'm learning so that I really get it! And I could do that like to study and stuff! DO YOU think this is a good idea? Comment below!

Hey guys! So this is my 1st post in the Great Month of Posting, and I don't know what to talk about. I've almost gotten it approved, and I'm posting because I promised myself I would. Good News, People!

School started for me and it is so fun. I'm now officially in a new section of grades, and we have a teacher who's really nice. She gives you Monopoly money if you write sentences using the vocabulary words, and you can redeem this money for things like HUGE STUFFED ANIMALS or homework passes.

Hello again!

It's been a bit since I posted last. My dad's friend from work had a heart attack, and died. We are in mourning for him, but we haven't shaved our eyebrows (like Egyptians do).

So yeah, I also got introduced to the Pokemon trading card game (I have no idea how to put the little thingy over the E like it's supposed to be), and I have around 40 cards so far, castoffs from my Decatur friends. I also found out that Herobrine might be in their Minecraft, but I'm not sure...

So yeah. We still might be getting another dog, because we put in an offer to buy it but another family was interested last time we saw her, so we might and might not get a dog. I honestly hope we do.

Decatur Update!

There's about an hour and a half left on the Decatur drive, which is another reason I'm pretty excited.

Another reason is that Skylar is Fan Of The Week, which I'm pretty excited about.

Drivin' to Decatur

I'm posting this from my mom's car on our way to Decatur. We're leaving a gas station and about 2 hours from Decatur. I'm gonna go on a posting spree and update you guys (my teeny-tiny fan base) about the trip. I'm just using my dad's Wifi hotspot and posting this stuff.
I've decided to make a new update to my blog. Yes, already. I will have a Fan Of The Week (or FOTW for short) which I'm hoping will grow in popularity. This is my first post on The Boring Life Of Racartiara. I'm kinda sad (both because I'm fighting off sickness and because I won't be able to post for a bit), and kinda happy (I started this blog). So yeah, I will be going to IMSA camp, and if you don't know what that is, you can look it up. Immediately after that, I will be going down to Southern IL to visit some of my mom's friends from high school. So, since this is my first post, I will immediately hereafter create an 'About Me' page that will be where you can get my info.
