First of all, something known as PARCC testing is coming up soon for me! I'm not looking forward to it at all. First of all, we don't get to go to Band or Choir for around 2 weeks, and second, it's not that it's hard, it's just that it takes forever! Ugh. At least once I take it it'll be over. And once I do, I know that the end of the school year is just around the corner- and right after that, TATINOF! (eee) I found out that almost all my friends have tickets. Maybe we'll spot each other in the audience! Probably not, though. It's a big theater.
Monstercat Podcast number 100 came out a few days ago! *excited* It's almost 3 hours long with over 100 songs, and it's AWESOME AND YOU SHOULD WATCH IT NOW DO IT
Have any of you watched someone called Bill Wurtz? He makes cool videos about random stuff at www.billwurtz.com. He made the video history of japan, which taught me more about japan than I've learned in any other time of my life! (and it's melodic, too.) So check him out!
School was school. Not much changed. We're studying the War of 1812. Did you know that we invaded Canada and burned York (modern-day Toronto, the British capital at the time) to the ground? And for payback, the British burned Washington D.C. Dolly Madison saved a painting of George Washington from the burning White House, though. I think that was pretty cool of her.
Quick survey! How do you draw? How did you learn? For example, I learned from looking at artists' art that I admired, and watching how they drew certain things like expressions. I also traced a bit of artwork to just see how to do things like clothing folds. So how did you do it? I have a friend who practiced drawing clothing and stuff by photographing himself in the mirror, then drawing his character in the same poses as he was in. I think that was pretty cool.
This is turning into one of those random rant things. OH WAIT I FORGOT THERE'S NEWS! I'm going to be making a Weebly side-blog based off of this one, just detailing random stuff about my fandoms. So if you want to hear me rant more about Undertale, go there! (Web address will be posted next time; I'm still working out some kinks in the system.) Weebly is pretty cool if you want to make an easy site. Blogger is a lot more complicated with HTML and stuff.
That's pretty much all I have for you today! In totak:
- PARCC testing
- Monstercat Podcast 100! YAY!
- Excited for TATINOF
- Check out Bill Wurtz
- How do you draw? Comment below!
- Weebly side-blog coming soon! (for fandoms!)
See you next time!
