It's really cloudy outside

Exactly what it sounds like in the title.
Normal Gracc here! Nice to see you again! Evil twin's gonna be gone for a while. They said they had things to do. I'm not really going to ask what 'things' they were talking about, I'm going to enjoy my time here.
How has everyone been? I got Undertale (finally). I'm not very far yet, but I'm getting there. I'm not going to tell you what's happening right now (not gonna spoil stuff), but I've been checking out all the easter eggs and having tons of fun! I reeeeeeeeeeeeally want all the new official merch that's out (I need an undertale shirt), and I've checked it out and found some easter eggs along with the fact that Sans wearing pink slippers is now canon. That's pretty awesome.
Apparently some of my classmates check my blog because "it's like their own personal soap opera". Not sure what to make of that, but I'll say okay, because it means that they're checking it daily.
We had an assembly today about what's gonna happen in eighth grade and high school. I get to choose an elective! (I think I'm gonna take Spanish, because I need two years in order to get into some colleges that I might want to go to.)
It's really pretty outside right now- even though it rained pretty hard yesterday. The groundhog predicted early spring, and I think that's being felt in nature- first rain to melt most of the snow, and now geese are returning from the south! They say that animals can feel things before we can, and are more in-tune with nature than us- examples include dogs and cats being the first to run before an event like an earthquake or tornado, even before our scientific tools can predict it, geese leaving right before a winter storm's going to hit, and pigeons and other birds being able to return to a specific place. It's sort of interesting.
I've recently noticed that because I have synthesia, I can sort of feel if a song speeds up a bit or slows down a bit in places, and it's started to impact more and more. Even a tiny difference makes the song feel off. Also, I've started hearing songs and just being like "man, that song's really clean." What I mean is that it doesn't really have that many things in my soundscape, and sounds fairly simple. This isn't necessarily bad or good, I enjoy lots of clean or busy songs (busy songs are the opposite, with lots of color in the soundscape), it just looks different. Usually my soundscape has things like:

  • the melody, obviously, looking like a dot or trail moving along
  • the harmony, being different dots and trails moving around the melody
  • the beat, being a sort of background color that becomes more or less transparent
  • the surrounding sounds, being sort of like colored objects that move with the melody and harmony
It usually looks pretty interesting. Some of the colors and shapes look soft, with soft edges, and others look really hard, with clean edges and simplistic colors. It's fun!

Reccommendations:
Song: Nightstep-Shatter Me by Lzzy Hale and Lindsey Stirling (both the nightstep and original versions are amazing)
YouTuber: plasterbrain (she's the sister of the amazing JelloApocalypse, and does the voice of Temmie in the Temmie Flakes commercial, so that's awesome)

I just realized that I've been recommending things for two years now. That's pretty cool, if you ask me.

hey, evil twin here. although currently attending to some business, i still have time for your questions, so don't be afraid to ask~
