2 POSTS IN ONE DAY?! GRACC, ARE YOU CRAZY? Nope, just an update.
1. I'm not going to see Dan and Phil D,: My parents said it wouldn't be worth the $25, and to be honest, I sort of agree with them on that. I wouldn't be able to talk to them or anything, just take one picture for like 5 seconds and then get a pre-signed copy of the book. Instead, I'm getting the book from the library, which is awesome because nobody goes to our library, yet it still has a load of books for everyone so I'll get it superfast.
2. Marrionette went home. Miss you already, girl!
3. Family photos were taken at a cool park place. It seemed a bit micromanagey at first, but it was all right. I also got an awesome shot of me looking into the distance (the river which was right behind the camera), which I'm excited to see! 2 weeks, guys!
4. I SAW THE NEW EPISODES OF MLP. I was caught up until the episode "Brotherhooves Social". I think that episodes 17 and 18 have a lot of good background character development, and I'm glad for that. (note: if you do not watch mlp, skip this; it won't make any sense) I was glad to see development in Big Mac, who has sort of been a blank slate throughout the series (except for the *shudder* hearts and hooves day episode. so much wrong with that episode, starting with the fact that they think that a stallion should be based on looks alone...), and so I was happy to hear him talk and have more development. In episode 18, Crusaders Of The Lost Mark, it was marking the 5-year anniversary of MLP:FIM's first airing. I was SO EXCITED that they did SO MUCH in one episode! I was loving the "Magical Mystery Cure" vibe with the musicals and stuff, and I liked that they addressed so much territory that hadn't been. It's a relief to see Diamond Tiara having family problems and not just being a one-dimensional bully character created to pick on the Crusaders for being blank-flanks. I also loved that Silver Spoon stood up for herself after SO MUCH CRINGE from me over the stuff that's happened. They went into a political election, which is interesting, and at the end, they got their Cutie Marks- to help other ponies get their cutie marks....? That sort of confused me at first, but I get it. They get to keep doing what they have been, which is helping other ponies, and earning Cutie Marks. The only difference is the marks being earned aren't theirs. I absolutely LOVED the montage of all of their attempts at the end of the episode, and although I wish the design had been a bit simpler, I like the symbols in it and concluded that if I had to re-design their marks, I really wouldn't change a thing! The symbols in the middle represent their talents as through "The Show Stoppers", and the tri-tone background symbolises their triad of greatness! I loved, loved, LOVED the reprise at the end, because it showed their sisters and how proud they were. (I have concluded that Scoots is going to be adopted by Rainbow Dash, simply because it's awesome to think of it that way.) I really liked their theme song ending variation, and it was overall a great episode. It cleared up the mom-and-dad thing with the Apples, too, and it was a great celebration of a 5-year anniversary- to have the secondary story get a semi-conclusion. I like how they structured it so that they can still have more episodes with the CMC, because they don't have cutie mark-ish duties to attend to, and although "Cutie Mark Crusaders" has taken on a slightly different meaning, I still like the episode a ton. Season 5 has been a real milestone season, and with episodes like this one and "Slice Of Life", I think it's clear how far we've come.
The only thing that I wish they had done was add in a more clever pun. I mean, Indiana Jones has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with this episode.
Sorry about that rant; I just LOVED the episode.
Moving on to "The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows"... I really like the way the tables turn from the "Green Isn't Your Color" episode, where Pinkie was testing Twilight. Now everypony is testing Pinkie, and it's almost too much to bear! I also love the news that everyone gets at the end, and I'm excited to see the BABY! (Maybe a Season 6 opener episode? Or a half-season episode with a hiatus? Without the hiatus?!) People have been suggesting it was Princess Skyla, and I sort of like that idea, although I also like to toy with the idea of having a male alicorn. Would it even be an alicorn? But still, an alicorn prince wouldn't be a bad idea... SHOW CREATORS, I HOPE YOU'RE READING THIS!
Sorry if you don't watch MLP, I had to get that off my tail. That was basically it! Also, in case you were wondering, I'm not a Taurus. I'm an Aquarius. I just have a list of random words, and I pick one for each blog post (unless SOMEONE would be kind enough to give me suggestions in the comments??? SOMEONE ANYONE PLEASE HELP)
Also, before we go any further, I'm going to explain my blog in a simple key:
Normal text: information
talking like this: ranting about thoughts
OH MY GOD CAPITAL TEXT: I'm really excited about something, or I want to make a strong point
(parentheses mean that you should probably read it, and it's for your own good, choose not to at your own risk).
I already recommended a song and YouTuber, so go to my other post today, called Swamp (I believe), and check them out over there.
Bye!
